TALAPADY: Sharda Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy Medical Colleges and Hospitals at Sharada Ayurdhama campus have taken initiatives to globally widespread the knowledge of Indian medical practices. Speaking at the Press Meet, Prof. M. B. Puranik, President of Sharada Group of Institutions said, “Our institutions collectively promote holistic health and education. It is our dedicated services by specialist doctors, experienced professors and skilled staff that attract health-enthusiasts across the nation and globe. Along with the treatment, we educate them on Ayurveda, Yoga and Nature cure. We had people travelling from US, Russia, Gulf, France, Germany, etc who are extremely happy with our educative treatments. Across the platforms we propagate our rich medicine systems. Recently, we had few MoUs signed with 10 organizations of SAARC nations, who have participated in a medical tourism program held at Kochi. A delegation of 30 Russians are in our campus, who have come for a month long Ayurveda and Yoga training and treatments. We also introduce them to our art and culture. ‘Varna Vaividhya’ the cultural exchange event just now is one such effort to share common stage”.
