NEW DELHI: The Phase 6 Lok Sabha Election 2019 was a poor show with many loopholes and discrepancies. The news ranged from Bharati Ghosh the BJP candidate being attacked in West Bengal to the poll officer being beaten by the MLA of the BJP party. The poll took place for 59 seats across 6 states of India.
In Delhi particularly, 1200 EVMs and the VVPATs were malfunctioning which resulted many people boycotting the vote in between. Commenting on the the Election Commission said that the EVMs and VVPATs are sensitive to extreme heat, hence it resulted in malfunctioning. Delhi reported of 60% of voters turnout, while WB with 80%.
