NEW DELHI: The Modi govt has diluted the UPSC institution by creating the lateral entry into UPSC under contract basis has been a topic of critical debate for more than a year.

The UPSC has announced the result of lateral entry hire and have inducted 9 candidates under contract basis for Joint-Secretary for various department and ministries.

Amber Dubey (Civil Aviation), Rajeev Saksena (Economic Affairs), Kakoli Ghosh (Agriculture, Co-operation and Farmers Welfare), Arun Goel (Commerce), Bhushan Kumar (Shipping), Suman Prasad Singh (Road Transport and Highways), Sujit Kumar Bajpayee (Environment, Forest and Climate Change), Dinesh Dayanand Jagdale (New and Renewable Energy), Saurabh Mishra (Financial Services).

The Fraternity of serving and retired civil servants has expressed their criticism of Modi govt on diluting the institution of UPSC.
