In a global research on 195 countries published online in The Lancet has revealed that 1 in 5 deaths were directly related to unhealthy diet. Among the countries, Uzbekistan ranked the worst in while Israel ranked the least.
The average consumption of healthy food was very low while sugary drinks and fast food remained all time favourite. The consumption of nuts, whole grains, fruits and vegetables were seen the least choice. Health risk such as cardio-vascular diseases, diabetes, stroke and various cancer were relatively high.
