CHENNAI: The Chief Justice of Madras High Court Justice V.K Tahilramani has resigned

TAMIL NADU: Justice V.K Tahilramani resigned from Madras High Court over the rejection of her request to be transferred. The Supreme Court Collegium had rejected her request to be transferred to Meghalaya High Court although it was recommended on 28th August 2019. Upset over the rejection Justice V.K Tahilramani decided to resign from the post. Justice V.K Tahilramani was elevated to the post of Chief Justice of Madras Court in the year 2018.
